About us
The organisation behind the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra consists of about 170 employees, of which 109 are orchestra musicians and 12 choristers. The Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra is a wholly owned limited company within the Region of Västra Götaland and it aims to position itself as one of the world’s foremost symphony orchestras. At its disposal, the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra has a unique building, the Gothenburg Concert Hall, famous for its fine acoustics and architecture.
