About us
The Swiss Youth Symphony Orchestra is a special kind of orchestra: up to one hundred young musicians between the ages of 15 and 25 come together from all four parts of Switzerland to perform challenging works from all eras of classical music under the direction of internationally renowned conductor Kai Bumann.
Conditions of participation: Age: 15-25
Nationality: CH or residence / study in Switzerland
Participation in all rehearsals and concerts is required.
The musicians play without fee, travel expenses will be reimbursed (deductible: CHF 100.00). The costs for accommodation (rehearsal week) and meals during the rehearsals will be covered by the orchestra.
