The actual audition is preceeded by a short introductory talk in GYPO’s director's office in the presence of the general director, the deputy director, the artistic director and the chief conductor. 

One movement of own choice from a partita or solo sonata by J. S. Bach, 

First or third movement of a violin concerto of own choice (with cadenza)

Brahms: Symphony No. 4 op. 98.

1st movement: from 281 till 297

3rd movement: from the begining till 44

R. Strauss: Don Juan op. 20, from the begining till „B” (1st violin)

Bartók: Concerto 5th movement, from 21 till 50

Mozart: Symphony E-flat major KV543, 4th movement from the beginning (1st violin)

Mozart: Symphony C-major “Jupiter” KV551, 2nd movement from the beginning till 18 (1st violin)   

Mendelssohn: A Midsummer Night's Dream: Scherzo from 17 till 7 after D
