Utopia is inviting singers to take part in the projects of the Salzburg festival 2023 under the baton of Teodor Currentzis.

There will be 2 pieces performed: Henry Purcell "Indian Queen" and W.A.Mozart "Mass in c minor".

The results of online audition will be communicated personally by 20 February 2023.

The live audition will take place in Munich in the period from 10-15 March 2023. The live audition is by invitation only and will be only one day for a singer (the exact date will be communicated personally), following a preliminary recorded round. Additional city might be chosen for an audition depending on the applicant's geography.

The first rehearsal session will take place in Munich from 1-4 May 2023 with the choirmasters.

The main session will be in Salzburg starting from 16 July - 9 August 2023.

Indian Queen concerts are scheduled on 31 July 2023 & 2 August 2023 at Felsenreitschule, Salzburg.

Mass in c minor concerts are scheduled on 8 & 9 August 2023 at Stiftskirche St. Peter, Salzburg.

Applicants are required to send the following information:

• CV in English
• Portrait photo in good quality
• Repertoire (list of sung and prepared roles)
• Audio/video materials of the personal solo. The submitted media shall be in quality, not edited and recorded less than a year ago.

All communication and rehearsals will be led in English.
