Camerata Bardi Vocal Academy

Sobre nosotros

The mission of Camerata Bardi is to promote and nourish a "modern renaissance" in the art of singing, rooted in the Italian traditions and the correct use of Italian language and diction. By promoting the Italian language as an essential part of musical and dramatic texture, Camerata Bardi thus promotes the Italian culture.

ARTISTIC ACHIEVEMENTS
Our Young Artists are being promoted through productions in collaboration with Teatro Grattacielo, International Festivals, and Harrison Friends of the Opera. We have just created our very first co-production with the Cultural and Conference Center of Crete for the creation of Mozart's Idomeneo in July 2021.

In 2020, Camerata Bardi Vocal Academy launched its very first international competition. With 256 participants from 29 different countries, Camerata Bardi Vocal Academy awarded $6,000 in prizes to competition winners, as well as paid gigs to several of the participants.

In partnership with Teatro Grattacielo, Camerata Bardi Vocal Academy has released their first virtual production of scenes from Arrigo Boito’s Mefistofele. Celebrating the great Beniamino Gigli’s 100 years at the Met, this production was recorded in The Blue Building in New York City, and is currently streaming free through Teatro Grattacielo's website.

In December 2020, we released a filmed version of George Frideric Handel, MESSIAH that is now streaming on our website.
