Founded in 1925, the Malmö SymfoniOrkester is one of Sweden's major symphony orchestras. Performing the full breadth of repertoire, MSO collaborates with prominent conductors and soloists to present a magnetic annual concert season. MSO has won critical acclaim for its numerous recordings with leading record labels and continues to cultivate its growing reputation via international tours.

How we handle the Covid 19 situation:

To avoid a large number of people at Malmö Live the first round will be by video recording. Malmö Live is a spacious facility with several entrances, this allowes us to keep distance from each other. When auditioning all applicants are divided in groups of max. 15 and each group gets a specific check in time. Including the audition staff ( approx. 5 persons ) this is the max amount of people at the same time in the audition area. There will be one preparation room per player that will be cleaned in between every group. We of course ask you to stay at home if you have any kind of symptoms, keep distance to each other during the complete process and use the hand sanitizer provided.

Requirements:

• The video has to be in one take with your full body visible
• please record the excerpts in the given order in one take

By submitting your application you assure that no cuts or other adjustments has been made

We will let you know by November 16 (afternoon) if you have qualified for the 2nd round.
