-L.van Beethoven: Symphony n. 5, 2nd movement

-R.Strauss: Ein Heldenleben

2nd round:

-J.Brahms: Symphony n. 2, 2nd movement

-L.van Beethoven: Symphony n. 8, 3rd movement, Trio

-P.Tchaikovsky: Symphony n. 6, 2nd movement

-G.Verdi: Requiem, Offertorium

-G.Mahler: Symphony n. 5, 1st movement

-D.Shostakovich, Symphony n. 5, 3rd movement

3rd round:

-First movement of either Cello Concerto in B minor by A.Dvorak or Cello Concerto in A minor by R.Schumann *

-C.Saint-Saëns: “The Swan” from “Le carnaval des animaux” *

-works marked with * are to be played with piano accompaniment.

The orchestra will provide a pianist for the audition but there will unfortunately be no chance to schedule any rehearsals.
